Fletcher Hall

Fletcher Hall was purchased by Wilson College in 1893 as a dormitory for seniors.  At the time of purchase it was known as the Vance House.  It was named Fletcher after Board of Trustees treasurer W.S. Fletcher.  It was enlarged in 1897 and a porch was added in the rear in 1931.  In 1954 the Board recommended that Fletcher be razed upon completion of McElwain-Davidsion Hall.  Fletcher was demolished in 1957.
