The Hankey Center
Now the Hankey Center for the Education and Advancement of Women, this building served as the President's House from 1905-2001. It was briefly used as an infirmary in the summer of 1925 and completely remodeled in 1936 when a brick garage was added in the rear of the building. In 2002-2003 additional remodeling was done to add temperature controlled storage, gallery space and offices to house the C. Elizabeth Boyd '33 Archives, the Barron Blewett Hunnicutt Classics Gallery and the Wilson College Institute for Women in Science, Mathematics and Technology (WISMAT).
