Norland Hall

Norland Hall was the first building used by Wilson College.  It was purchased from newspaper editor, Col. Alexander K. McClure in 1868 along with 52 acres of his estate.  The original McClure home was burned along with much of Chambersburg by Confederate soldiers on July 30, 1864.  The family re-built Norland Hall in 1865 in the Second Empire style.  Although it initially housed the entirety of Wilson College's operations from offices and classrooms to dormitories and dining facilities it is now home to the Admissions Office.
