McElwain-Davidson Hall
McElwain-Davidson Hall or "MacDave" as it is called by students is named after two important alumnae in Wilson's history. Professor Charlotte J. Davidson, class of 1897, taught mathematics from 1902-1946 and Mary Belle McElwain, class of 1885, who served as a member of the faculty, board of trustees, Acting Dean (1942-1946), Acting President (1950), and Historian of the collge (1946-1964). Mac-Dave has always been used as a dormitory.
