Frank E. Gannette Memorial Field House
Originally part of the Penn Hall campus, the Gannette Field house is named for the Gannette Foundation which contributed $250,000 in 1974 for the improvement of the facilities. It officially opened to Wilson students on Saturday, November 9, 1974 with a volleyball game and speech from Harold E. Burdick, publisher of the Public Opinion newspaper which was then owned by the Gannette Company, Inc.
