Disert Hall
Disert Hall was built in 1965 as a dormitory in response to increasing enrollment that peaked in 1967. It is named after alumna Margart Criswell Disert '29 who returned to Wilson after graduation to serve as a professor of Mathematics, Registrar, freshman advisor, and finally Dean from 1938-1964. During World War II, Dean Disert's duties in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant in the WAVES prompted her to take a leave of absence from Wilson from 1942-1946.
